Role Overview

The Investor Relations (IR) Senior Associate / VP will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with global institutional investors and supporting fundraising efforts for the firm's secondary market strategies. This highly visible position sits within the global headquarters and requires a candidate who can represent the firm externally with clarity, professionalism, and cultural adaptability.

The role is centered on building trust with leading LPs-including pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and OCIOs-while ensuring that fund materials and communications meet international standards. The successful candidate will combine strong institutional-facing experience with a global mindset, able to translate complex investment strategies into clear, compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders across the US, Europe, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead investor relations initiatives across fundraising and relationship management, engaging directly with global LPs.
  • Prepare, refine, and present fund materials including investor memos, DDQs, factsheets, and LP reports.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with institutional investors, ensuring alignment with their expectations and investment priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (investment, marketing, finance, and senior leadership) to ensure consistent messaging and seamless delivery of information.
  • Represent the firm externally at meetings, conferences, and investor events, embodying the firm's values and voice.
  • Monitor investor feedback and market sentiment, providing insights to leadership and suggesting improvements to engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of relevant institutional-facing experience in:
    • Buy-side (Asset Manager, PE, Hedge Fund, FoF, Family Office), OR
    • Top-tier Investment Bank, Private Bank, or Placement Agent in IR / Sales / Capital Introduction.
  • Strong understanding of global LP expectations and familiarity with fund materials (IM, DDQ, factsheet, LP reporting).
  • Proven ability to engage directly with institutional investors across multiple geographies.
  • Strategic thinker with a global mindset, cultural awareness, and professional communication style.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and international environment.
  • Business-level proficiency in English is required; Mandarin is not necessary but cultural adaptability is essential.
