Product Manager
Overview
A rapidly growing insurance-focused organization is seeking an innovative Product Manager to lead the development of AI-enabled and automation-driven solutions across its underwriting and operations value chain.
This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of insurance, data, and emerging technologies, with a focus on transforming manual workflows into intelligent, scalable systems. You will play a key role in delivering solutions that enhance underwriting capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own and execute the product roadmap for automation and AI solutions across the insurance lifecycle (intake, triage, underwriting, quoting, and policy operations).
- Define product vision and prioritize initiatives based on business value and strategic objectives.
Product Development & Execution
- Translate business needs from underwriting, actuarial, and operations teams into clear product requirements.
- Partner with engineering and external vendors to deliver MVPs and iterate quickly.
- Lead product delivery from ideation through testing, feedback, and full-scale launch.
AI & Automation Innovation
- Design and implement intelligent workflows that replace manual processes using AI and automation tools.
- Leverage technologies such as LLMs, NLP, and document processing to improve decision-making and efficiency.
- Drive adoption of advanced automation solutions across the business.
Performance & Impact Measurement
- Define and track key success metrics (e.g., speed-to-quote, workflow efficiency, accuracy, and profitability improvements).
- Continuously optimize product performance based on data insights and user feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with underwriting, operations, technology, and external partners to deliver solutions.
- Ensure alignment across stakeholders and maintain a strong feedback loop.
- Support organizational adoption of new tools and workflows.
Qualifications Required
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within insurance, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
- Strong understanding of insurance or MGA environments, including underwriting workflows and specialty lines.
- Experience building AI, automation, or data-driven products within complex systems.
- Familiarity with API-first architectures and scalable product design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-impact solutions in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and translating complex workflows into structured products.
