Non-Ferrous Metals Trader
Key Responsibilities:
Originate, structure, and execute physical trades in non-ferrous metals (e.g., copper, aluminium, zinc, lead, nickel, tin, lithium, cobalt and etc.).
Develop and maintain relationships with producers, smelters, refiners, traders, and industrial consumers.
Manage end-to-end trade flows - from negotiation, contract execution, shipping, and logistics coordination to after-sales settlement.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and arbitrage opportunities to drive profitable trades.
Work closely with operations, risk, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution and adherence to company policies.
Expand the company's market footprint through new business development and strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
Minimum 3-5 years of physical trading experience in non-ferrous metals, with capability of running your own physical trading book.
Strong understanding of Incoterms, LME pricing mechanisms, and shipping/documentation processes.
Demonstrated P&L responsibility and ability to develop physical flows independently.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Fluency in English; other Asian or European languages are an advantage.
