Investment Banking Healthcare M&A

Transaction Execution

  • Lead day‑to‑day execution of M&A transactions, including sell‑side, buy‑side, and strategic advisory mandates across healthcare subsectors (e.g. pharmaceuticals, biotech, medtech, healthcare services, life sciences tools).
  • Oversee and review financial analysis and valuation work streams, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, LBO analysis, and accretion/dilution modelling.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes, data room management, and interactions with legal, accounting, tax, and other external advisors.
  • Drive preparation of key client deliverables, including information memoranda, management presentations, board materials, and fairness analyses.
  • Support negotiation of transaction documentation and commercial terms alongside senior bankers.

Client & Relationship Management

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients on execution matters, maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Develop deep understanding of client objectives, sector dynamics, and transaction rationale.
  • Represent the firm confidently in meetings with senior management teams, boards, sponsors, and counter parties.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, mentor, and develop Analysts and Associates, providing clear guidance, feedback, and coaching.
  • Review analytical work product to ensure accuracy, insight, and presentation quality.
  • Set a positive tone for team culture, work ethic, and attention to detail.

Business Development & Sector Expertise

  • Contribute to origination efforts by assisting in pitch development, sector analysis, and idea generation.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulatory developments, and M&A activity.
  • Support senior bankers in cultivating long‑term client relationships and sponsor coverage.

Experience

  • 5 - 8+ years of experience in investment banking, with significant Healthcare M&A execution experience.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and transactions under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing junior bankers.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare business models, regulatory considerations, and valuation drivers.
  • Experience advising both corporate and private equity clients.
  • Resilient, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment.
