Investment Banking Associate | Industrials
Selby Jennings is partnering with a newly established investment bank backed by a heavily backed institution. They are looking for a driven Investment Banking Associate to join their Houston team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with strong exposure to senior leadership and significant responsibility on live transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Support execution of M&A and capital raising transactions primarily in Industrials and select Consumer sectors.
- Prepare detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentations.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage transaction timelines.
- Work closely with VPs, Directors, and MDs on lean deal teams.
- Assist in origination efforts and maintain client relationships.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of investment banking experience at a reputable middle-market or elite boutique firm.
- Demonstrated closed deal experience and ability to contribute immediately.
- Background in Industrials, Business Services, or Consumer sectors preferred.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and willing to take initiative.
