Investment Banking Opportunities - M&A (Analyst & Associate)

About the Opportunity

We are working with a leading global investment bank to support continued growth within one of its highest-performing sector teams. Due to a substantial increase in completed mandates and sustained deal flow, the team is expanding and seeking Analysts and Associates to join its Chicago office.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-scaling, execution-focused platform where junior bankers gain immediate exposure to live M&A transactions, senior leadership, and client interaction.

The Team

The group focuses on a broad and dynamic segment spanning:

  • Professional services (consulting, legal, accounting)
  • Tech-enabled services and SaaS-adjacent businesses
  • Commercial and outsourced services
  • Implementation and advisory ecosystems

This area represents one of the most active sectors for private equity and strategic M&A, offering consistent deal flow and exposure to high-quality transactions.

The Opportunity

This is a highly execution-oriented environment:

  • 80-90% of work is live deal execution (not pitching)
  • Strong conversion of mandates into completed transactions
  • High deal volume with multiple concurrent processes

You will be part of a collaborative, growth-oriented team that emphasizes development, mentorship, and long-term career progression.
