A leading global hedge fund is establishing a new proprietary trading arm and is looking for HFT Delta‑One Quant Traders to join a new prop division. This is a greenfield build‑out, offering the opportunity to shape strategy and infrastructure with the backing of significant capital investment and the resources of an established fund. The firm is renowned for attracting some of the brightest academic minds in the world and for its highly collaborative approach to quantitative research and trading.
What You'll Do
- Deploy and manage HFT delta‑one strategies across major global exchanges.
- Conduct research into short‑horizon alpha, market microstructure inefficiencies, and signal generation.
- Collaborate closely with quant developers and engineers to build low‑latency infrastructure, order‑routing logic, and co‑located execution systems.
- Continuously refine execution quality, slippage, and fill ratios through data‑driven iteration.
- Scale strategies using institutional capital with robust risk management support.
Profile Requirements
- Proven PnL track record running delta‑one HFT or ultra‑short‑horizon systematic strategies.
- Deep understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and latency‑sensitive execution.
- Strong programming skills in C++ / Python / Rust, ideally with experience building or optimising low‑latency systems.
- Experience working with global exchanges, co‑location environments, and market data feeds.
- Ambition to be part of a new build‑out, contributing directly to team identity, research direction, and infrastructure decisions.
