We are supporting a regulated financial institution in the search for a Business Compliance Officer. In this role, you will work closely with both the front office and compliance teams, taking responsibility for ensuring regulatory obligations are met throughout the client lifecycle. This position offers a varied mix of advisory, review, and operational compliance work within a small, agile team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day compliance guidance to front‑office staff regarding due‑diligence obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Review new client relationships, including account openings for financial institutions, VASPs/CASPs, and other higher‑risk profiles.
- Ensure alignment with AML and due‑diligence standards.
- Conduct transaction monitoring and review transfers involving securities and virtual assets, including blockchain analysis where required.
- Validate AIA/FATCA self‑classifications and ensure plausibility.
- Support the optimisation of onboarding and client verification processes, contributing to change initiatives and process improvements.
Your Profile
- Experience in compliance within a financial institution or public authority.
- Good knowledge of AML, SPG, FATCA, AIA and related regulatory frameworks.
- Fluent in German and English
