Finance Director
- Develop and execute the firm's financial strategy in alignment with business goals
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Partner with business units to evaluate initiatives and optimize resource allocation
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
- Oversee billing operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with employment tax regulations
- Manage state, local, and federal tax compliance, including filings and audits
- Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
- Own and optimize ERP systems (Workday), driving automation and efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial systems and reporting capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with Workday or similar ERP systems
- Background in media, technology, or AI-driven businesses is highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills
