I am working on a confidential CEO search on behalf of a recently acquired national bank located in the Denver metropolitan area. The incoming CEO will be instrumental in shaping the bank's strategic direction, assembling a high-performing leadership team, and integrating modern financial technology with rigorous regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the bank's strategic vision, build out the executive team, and drive sustainable growth in alignment with the parent company's objectives.
- Partner with the board and senior leadership to ensure governance practices support long-term strategic priorities.
- Establish and maintain a robust risk and compliance framework, ensuring full adherence to OCC, BSA, AML, and other federal and state banking regulations.
- Oversee daily operations, financial performance, and internal controls, implementing scalable systems that support secure and efficient money movement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 20+ years of experience in banking or financial services, including senior leadership roles within regulated institutions. Prior CEO or executive-level experience at a regional or community bank is strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in federal banking oversight and compliance, with a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated success in building or scaling banking operations, with experience in fintech partnerships or embedded finance solutions.
