We're partnered with a top-tier, LA-based private equity firm that's on an aggressive growth trajectory and looking to add a dynamic Business Development Associate to its team. This is a high-impact role where you'll be at the forefront of sourcing and origination, driving the firm's investment pipeline across platform and add-on opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Execute thematic sourcing sprints for platform and add-on opportunities
- Conduct market research, build target lists, and drive outbound outreach
- Collaborate with investment teams to identify and prioritize opportunities
- Engage directly with founders and executives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, M&A advisory, or tech sales
- Strong research skills and commercial instincts
- Proven track record in deal origination and relationship management
- Deep understanding of private market transactions, valuation, and investment structures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
