Position Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to join their thriving Transactional Banking team, which spans across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). The team is dedicated to providing comprehensive Transaction Banking solutions, including Cash and Liquidity Management, Foreign Exchange, Trade, and Working Capital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Grow trade & working capital finance revenues and enhance returns from existing clients.
  • Origination: Execute sales strategies, expand market share, and increase client engagement.
  • Client Strategy: Define and execute strategies for client portfolios, including account and wallet planning.
  • Relationship Building: Deepen client relationships across various functions and drive strategic account planning.
  • Product Development: Partner with internal stakeholders to develop complex products and solutions.
  • Risk Management: Address business issues such as risk, legal, and compliance effectively.
  • Pipeline Management: Achieve individual pipeline targets and diversify revenue sources.
  • RFI/RFP Management: Respond to regional and global RFIs/RFPs, coordinating input from various functions.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop strong working relationships across key stakeholder groups.
  • Compliance: Mitigate trade & working capital finance deal-related matters and contribute to risk management improvements.
  • Training: Provide coaching and training to team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Representation: Represent the Transaction Banking team at industry and client events.

Skills and Experience:

  • BA degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 7-10 years' experience in a sales role at a Tier 1 global financial institution.
  • Sound knowledge of Trade Finance and Cash & Liquidity Management.
  • Proven track record in managing complex client relationships and market conditions.
  • Experience engaging with senior corporate clients in a Transactional Banking role.
  • Demonstrated revenue growth and diversification of cross-sell revenue.
  • SME knowledge of European and Asia markets.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and industry climate.
  • Developed influence and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Professional financial qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA, ACT, CITF) are desirable.
