A leading fintech firm is scaling its engineering team and hiring a C++ Software Engineer to build high-performance trading infrastructure used by global banks and hedge funds. This organisation develops low-latency trade routing and execution platforms, powering connectivity to major liquidity venues worldwide. Their systems operate in real-time environments, handling large volumes of market data with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
The Role
You'll join a highly technical, international engineering team working on the core platform:
- Develop and optimise low-latency C++ systems
- Build and enhance real-time data pipelines and APIs
- Work on performance-critical components of trading infrastructure
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in C++ (5+ years of professional experience)
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, or real-time data processing
- Background in performance optimisation / low-latency systems
- Exposure to financial systems or trading environments is a plus, or experience with streaming / API-driven platforms
