Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering high‑quality accounting and financial reporting services for a diverse portfolio of German‑market clients, including soparfis, private equity structures, and real estate investment vehicles. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex cross‑border structures. As the primary point of contact for German-speaking clients, native-level German language proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting lifecycle for a portfolio of client entities (soparfis, private equity funds, real estate SPVs, holding companies).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Lux GAAP, IFRS, and client‑specific standards.
- Maintain general ledgers, review journal entries, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Prepare consolidation packages where required.
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and ensure timely delivery of audit documentation.
- Prepare and review VAT, CIT, and other Luxembourg filing requirements in collaboration with tax advisors.
- Ensure client entities remain compliant with local regulatory guidelines.
- Support the preparation of board packs, statutory filings, and regulatory submissions.
- Act as the main accounting contact for German-speaking clients.
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients, advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide clear explanations of financial information and resolve client queries efficiently
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably within corporate servicesor fiduciaries.
- Strong understanding of Lux GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
- Proven experience managing complex entity structures (soparfis, PE, RE structures).
- Native-level German proficiency is mandatory; strong English skills required.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and client‑oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office applications.
