Private Equity Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Analyst to join our investment team. The Analyst will work closely with senior investment professionals on evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, performing due diligence, and supporting portfolio company initiatives. This role offers direct exposure to the full investment lifecycle and significant interaction with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex financial models, including LBO, operating, and valuation models.
- Analyze potential investment opportunities and industry trends.
- Conduct company, market, and competitive research.
- Assist with commercial, financial, and operational due diligence processes.
- Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and memos.
- Support transaction execution, including acquisitions, recapitalizations, and exits.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and develop reporting materials.
- Participate in management meetings, lender discussions, and advisor calls.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Development, or Private Equity.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
