A global energy and commodity organization is seeking a Metals Operator to join its Metals and Minerals Operations team. Responsibilities:
- Arrange shipping, storage, and blending of cargos
- Oversee the issuance and timely distribution of all shipping documents required for purchase, sale, import, export, and cargo transit
- Coordinate customs procedures when applicable
- Organize inspections for cargos
- Manage operational communication with external counterparties and internal teams involved in executing trades
- Enter cargo data into internal systems and assess operational costs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in metals operations (refined or concentrates)
- Solid understanding of the commodity trading industry
- Experience with warranting operations is beneficial
- Background in freight forwarding is an advantage
