A leading international investment bank with a strong cross‑border footprint is seeking a high‑calibre M&A Associate to join its growing team in Amsterdam. The firm advises on complex transactions across multiple sectors and is known for its collaborative culture and high-quality execution.
Role Overview
As an M&A Associate, you will be a key contributor in all stages of the deal life-cycle. You will support senior bankers on strategic advisory projects, manage day‑to‑day execution workstreams, and deliver sharp financial analysis to drive client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and review advanced financial models, including DCF, LBO and merger models.
- Produce high-quality client materials such as pitchbooks, IMs and management presentations.
- Conduct detailed industry and company research, market mapping, benchmarking and valuation exercises.
- Support full transaction execution, including due diligence coordination, process tracking and stakeholder management.
- Collaborate closely with analysts and contribute to their technical development.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment with exposure to senior teams across regions.
Requirements
- Native Dutch speaker with excellent English communication skills.
- 3-5 years' experience in Investment Banking M&A or a comparable corporate finance environment (Big 4 TS/Valuations with strong modelling also considered).
- Strong technical ability, including advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Solid experience in financial analysis, valuation and transaction execution.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset and strong work ethic.
