Investment Analyst (CLO Platform)
We are working with a well respected CLO manager who is looking to add to the team. his role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in corporate credit who are interested in evaluating and monitoring the underlying assets of CLO portfolios. The Analyst will play a key role in supporting investment decisions and portfolio surveillance through deep fundamental research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental credit analysis on leveraged loan issuers across various sectors.
- Evaluate new issue and secondary loan opportunities for potential inclusion in CLO portfolios.
- Monitor ongoing performance of portfolio companies, including earnings, liquidity, and covenant compliance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed credit memos, financial models, and risk assessments.
- Track market developments, rating agency actions, and industry trends impacting credit quality.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and structuring teams to support investment and risk management decisions.
- Assist in internal reporting and presentations for investment committees and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in leveraged finance, credit research, or investment banking.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, capital structures, and credit metrics.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
