Financial Control Manager

Responsibilities:
Financial Control & Reporting
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing, cost allocations, and GL controls.
- Review Accounts Payable entries and payments; coordinate with Head Office for support.
- Prepare and analyse weekly business updates and monthly financial reports.
- Review Head Office and selected MAS reports.
- Implement new accounting standards and enhance internal controls and processes.
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and related projects.
Audit & Compliance
- Prepare audited financial statements and manage the external audit process.
- Liaise with the Corporate Secretary on secretarial matters.
Taxation & GST
- Collaborate with tax consultants on ECI and annual corporate tax filings.
- Prepare quarterly GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
- Review inter-company transfer pricing and maintain related documentation and SLAs.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting with 8-10 years of experience in audit and financial control/reporting within the banking sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with banking and financial systems such as Globus/T24 and Hyperion is a plus.
- Independent, proactive, and collaborative team player with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
