Job Title: Credit & Special Situations Analyst

Salary: $120k - $140k + Bonus
Summary:
This is a dynamic opportunity to join a high-performing Credit & Special Situations team focused on private credit investments across a diverse set of strategies-including corporate direct lending, asset-backed finance, real estate, litigation finance, and structured products. The role offers exposure to complex, non-traditional credit assets and the chance to work closely with investment professionals, portfolio managers, and investor relations. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Monitor and analyze asset-level performance across asset classes, coordinating deal teams and supporting tactical allocation decisions with portfolio managers.
- Model fund returns using current and projected investment cash flows, and support quarterly/monthly NAV calculations and valuations in collaboration with accounting.
- Prepare investor reporting and presentations, including quarterly updates and portfolio summaries, and assist in investor communications.
- Manage operational processes such as interest accrual schedules for loan investments, FX hedging, and legal term application for syndicated loans.
- Maintain and enhance marketing materials to support fundraising efforts and strategic positioning of the investment strategy.
- Drive process improvements across operational workflows through technology and software implementation, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on the backgrounds below:
- Public accounting firm or other financial services accounting
- Investment consulting firm (ex. Cambridge Associates, NEPC)
- Commercial Bank
- Private Debt Fund
- CPA, CFA, CAIA are a plus
- Python experience is a plus
