Corporate Strategy Analyst | FinTech
Selby Jennnigs is a partnered with a high performing FinTech company focused on Capital Markets technologies. This Fintech company has seen massive traction in financial markets, being backed by and working with global institutions. This group is in high-growth mode, and looking to bring on a Strategic Finance Analyst to join their high performing team.
Ideal candidates come from FinTech or Software focused Investment Banking teams with 1+ years of experience, and looking to play a key role in driving strategic initiatives, analyzing market trends, and supporting executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives, partnerships, and investments
- Track industry trends and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and risks
- Support M&A activities including target screening, due diligence, and integration planning
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects from ideation to execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for strategy and innovation
