Corporate FX Sales - Director
Our client, a leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Corporate FX Sales professional to join its London-based team, with responsibility for managing a portfolio of corporate clients and supporting the continued growth of its FX business.
This role offers the opportunity to take on a senior position within the Corporate FX Sales team, working closely with internal stakeholders, product specialists and corporate clients to deliver FX and FX options solutions while helping shape the future direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of large and mid-sized corporate clients, driving FX and FX options revenue generation.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Corporate FX business, identifying growth opportunities and supporting key business initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Trading, Structuring and Digital FX teams.
- Promote the firm's FX capabilities and ensure clients have access to appropriate products and solutions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across existing and prospective corporate client relationships.
- Act as a senior representative for the FX business, maintaining strong visibility across internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Lead and develop a team of FX sales professionals, supporting talent development, resource planning, recruitment and retention.
- Drive targeted business development initiatives and collaborate across the organisation to convert new revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Corporate FX Sales gained within a financial institution, or relevant experience in financial markets risk management sales.
- Demonstrated success building and developing senior client relationships within the corporate sector.
- Strong understanding of FX and FX options products and their application in corporate risk management.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment impacting currency markets and related products.
- Experience executing FX and FX derivatives solutions or comparable financial market products.
- Track record of collaborating effectively across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups.
- Previous leadership or people management experience, with the ability to develop and mentor team members.
- Strong commercial awareness, business development capabilities and a proactive approach to generating revenue opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
