Roles and Responsibilities
As a Business Controller, you'll play a key role in shaping financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence. Your responsibilities include:
Leading the planning and control cycle for your sector, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Delivering actionable management information to senior leadership to support strategic decisions.
Enhancing the level of control by monitoring progress against plans and evaluating resource allocation.
Participating in cross-functional working groups, contributing your financial expertise and insights.
Supporting the development of pricing strategies and risk assessments in collaboration with actuarial and finance teams.

Requirements
We're looking for a proactive and analytical professional who brings both expertise and curiosity to the table:
HBO/WO degree in (Business) Economics, Business Administration, or HOFAM.
Relevant experience in the insurance industry is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to analyze financial data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
Familiarity with Power BI is required; experience with R is a plus.
Strong communication skills in Dutch, both written and spoken.
