A large global hedge fund are looking for a Quantitative Researcher to join their team. Join a leading systematic fund with a strong heritage in CTA and trend-following strategies. It operates fully systematically, trading highly liquid, cross-asset futures across global markets. The approach is mid-frequency, with holding periods ranging from intraday to several weeks, combining robust quantitative research with disciplined execution. Collaboration is at the core of its culture and quantitative research teams work closely together on strategy development, fostering innovation and shared expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Be involved in the full strategy research cycle.
- Leverage your expertise to ensure robust model development, rigorous backtesting, and effective implementation of systematic trading strategies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and refine quantitative approaches that drive alpha generation across diverse asset classes.
Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative field e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or Financial Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience working on mission crucial systems as well and in a trading floor environment.
