Job Title: Vice President of Actuarial
Location: Philadelphia, PA (On-site)
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly experienced and analytical individual to join their team as the Vice President of Actuarial. This key leadership role will focus on large account pricing for their property and casualty books of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the actuarial team in developing and implementing pricing strategies for large accounts.
- Conduct thorough actuarial analyses to support pricing decisions and ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with underwriting and finance teams to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adjust pricing models accordingly.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the actuarial team.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Report findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience in property and casualty insurance.
- ACAS (Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society) or FCAS (Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society) designation required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).
