Overview
A leading global investment bank is seeking to hire a senior Cross Asset Solutions professional to join its Madrid-based team.
This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role focused on developing and expanding relationships with institutional investors across Europe. The successful candidate will be expected to originate new business opportunities, deepen existing client relationships, and deliver bespoke financing and investment solutions across a broad range of asset classes.
The team operates across public and private markets, with a growing focus on private assets and private credit solutions. As such, this opportunity is ideally suited to an entrepreneurial individual with an established network and a demonstrable track record of generating revenues from institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and develop new business opportunities with institutional investors across Europe.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with private asset managers, insurance companies, reinsurers, pension funds and other institutional clients.
- Deliver cross-asset solutions spanning public and private market opportunities.
- Structure and execute bespoke investment and financing solutions across multiple asset classes.
- Drive commercial growth through proactive client coverage and strategic business development initiatives.
- Identify opportunities within private credit, alternative investments and private asset markets.
- Partner with trading, structuring, financing and risk teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Lead client discussions around investment strategies, portfolio construction, capital efficiency and risk management.
- Represent the platform with senior decision makers and investment professionals across the institutional investor landscape.
Candidate Profile
- Vice President or Director-level professional with a strong track record in institutional client coverage.
- Demonstrable ability to generate revenues and bring new business opportunities.
- Existing relationships with private asset managers, insurance companies, reinsurers and other institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of cross-asset solutions within both public and private markets.
- Experience across one or more of:
- Private Credit
- Asset-Backed Finance
- Structured Credit
- Financing Solutions
- Rates and Macro Products
- Multi-Asset Solutions
- Alternative Investments
- Commercially minded with excellent relationship management and origination skills.
- Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to identify and develop new market opportunities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages would be advantageous.
