Trade Operations Analyst
We're partnering with a rapidly growing high-frequency trading firm that has been innovating in the market for over a decade. Operating with a small, highly specialized team of developers and traders, they are looking for a Mid-Level Risk / Trade Operations Analyst to join their dynamic environment. This is a hands-on role with significant ownership of systems and processes that ensure trades and positions remain accurate and compliant with desk risk limits.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Development: Build and maintain systems to ensure positions and trades comply with desk risk limits.
- Risk Reporting & Issue Resolution: Communicate risk concerns to the Risk Manager and resolve position-related issues.
- Collaborative Communication: Work closely with trading desks, clearers, and brokers to manage trade-related concerns.
- Automation Design & Improvement: Design and enhance automated processes to reduce manual intervention.
- Adaptability: Take on a broad range of tasks and new responsibilities as the firm grows.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in Risk or Trade Operations with strong understanding of risk management processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and MySQL; experience deploying processes in Python is critical.
