SRE - Trading Platform and Automation
My Client, a leading systematic and quantitative hedge fund based in Paris is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to come in and help evolve and scale the high performance trading platform. In this role you will build tools automation and resilient systems that support business critical services.
The ideal candidate would have robust experience in Site Reliability Engineering and strong python skills for infrastructure tooling and automation with a deep understanding of monitoring incidence response and systems architecture.
Responsibility's
Build automation for operations, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
Deliver and document system designs focused on resilience and performance.
Evaluate and implement the right tools for the job, balancing performance, complexity, and maintainability.
Own the observability stack (metrics, logs, tracing, alerts).
- Lead incident response and drive continuous improvement across systems.
- Collaborate with developers, quants, and platform teams on system evolution.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in SRE or production engineering roles.
- Strong Python skills for infrastructure tooling and automation.
- Deep understanding of monitoring, incident response, and system architecture.
- A commitment to code clarity and reducing technical debt.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
Experience designing and delivering scalable systems in production environments.
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration.
