Senior Frontend Engineer
Our client, a world leading hedge fund, is seeking an expert Senior Frontend Engineer, with expertise in React and TypeScript with some exposure in Python to join them in building a new firmwide greenfield project. You would be a part of a brand new team, building a cutting-edge platform from scratch that will utilise large amounts of real-time data for the fund's top trading teams. This new platform will be crucial to the firm's future success and you will have the opportunity to have a material impact.
In your role, you will:
- Work on a greenfield project to deliver a cutting-edge firmwide platform.
- Work with multiple development and trading teams to build udnerstand deep technical requirements.
- Use React and TypeScript to build an industry-leading frontend.
- Work with the backend team in Python to deliver seamless integrations.
- Work on the E2E process of the project, from design and architecture to delivery and improvement.
Your skills will include:
- At least five years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in finance or Big Tech.
- At least three years of experience building with React and TypeScript.
- Experience in building products that utilise real-time data and/or data streaming.
- Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with building web-applications and live products.
