Overview
We are supporting a well‑established financial institution in hiring a Senior Compliance Officer. This role sits at the intersection of regulation and operational execution, offering autonomy, ownership, and the chance to meaningfully shape compliance processes and governance structures. You will collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to the organisation's regulatory development.
Key Responsibilities
- Advance and optimise the AML/CFT framework in line with EU and local regulatory requirements.
- Improve compliance processes, especially within customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
- Strengthen KYC/DD controls and review new client relationships, including complex structures, intermediaries, and VASPs.
- Advise internal teams on compliance matters and support cross‑functional regulatory projects.
- Prepare and deliver internal training on AML, CFT, and due‑diligence topics.
Your Profile
- Several years of bank compliance experience with strong AML/CFT and regulatory knowledge.
- Extensive KYC and due‑diligence experience, including complex cases.
- Solid understanding of relevant corporate and foundation law.
- Independent, structured working style with strong analytical thinking.
- Fluent in German and English.
