About the Role
We are working with a leading asset management firm that is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its internal audit team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-impact audits and provide valuable insights to stakeholders across the organization. You will play a key part in ensuring robust governance, risk management, and compliance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Assess internal controls, perform testing, and evaluate the overall control environment.
- Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with business stakeholders to understand processes and risks.
- Prepare clear audit documentation, including flowcharts and narratives, and conclude on control effectiveness.
- Draft audit observations and provide practical recommendations to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Review work performed by junior auditors and provide guidance and coaching.
- Support annual audit planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of audit experience, preferably in financial services or asset management.
- Strong technical auditing and documentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders.
Preferred Certifications
- CIA, CPA, CISA, or similar professional qualifications.
