Senior Accountant | Growing Investment Firm
We are partnering with a founder led investment office that looking to hire their first finance & accounting hire into the firm. This is an opportunity to join a lean, high calibre team where finance and operations play a critical role in supporting investment decision making and the overall platform.
The role
This position sits within the operations function and offers broad exposure across finance, controls, and business support. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and external service providers, taking real ownership from an early stage.
* Coordinating with external bookkeepers to maintain accurate books and records
* Preparing budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections
* Supporting regulatory and compliance related financial reporting
* Coordinating annual audits and working with auditors and tax advisers
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting quality
This is not a narrow accounting role. The successful candidate will be encouraged to think commercially, take initiative, and help improve how the platform operates.
