Sales and Relationship Manager (Fund Services)

We are seeking an experienced and client‑focused Sales & Relationship Manager to join our fund distribution platform in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong asset‑management industry knowledge and a proven track record in managing institutional relationships. You will be primarily responsible for servicing our existing asset manager clients while also driving new client acquisition to support the growth of our platform.


Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for existing asset manager clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
  • Develop deep understanding of client product offerings, distribution needs, and commercial objectives.
  • Manage day‑to‑day inquiries, operational coordination, and service delivery across the platform.

New Business Development

  • Identify and prospect potential new asset manager clients regionally and globally.
  • Drive the end‑to‑end onboarding process, including initial pitch, due diligence coordination, commercial negotiation, and onboarding execution.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion.

Sales & Commercial Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of sales plans to meet annual growth targets.
  • Prepare proposals, product collateral, and pitch materials tailored to client needs.
  • Partner with internal teams (product, legal, compliance, operations) to structure solutions that create value for clients and the platform.

Platform & Product Knowledge

  • Maintain strong understanding of the firm's distribution capabilities, operating model, fee structures, and competitive differentiators.
  • Proactively educate clients on platform enhancements, regulatory updates, and new service offerings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in asset management, fund distribution, financial institutions sales, or related client‑facing roles.
  • Current SFC Type 1 or Type 4 license required.
  • Strong working knowledge of fund distribution channels, investment products, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and Asia.
  • Demonstrated success in managing institutional client relationships and driving business development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluency in English required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin advantageous.
