An established and highly respected interdealer / agency broker is seeking to hire an experienced Emerging Markets (EM) / CEEMEA Rates Sales professional to join its London-based platform.
This is a key strategic hire focused on expanding the firm's footprint across institutional hedge fund clients, leveraging deep market relationships and a strong understanding of EM rates products.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by originating and executing flow and trade ideas across CEEMEA and broader EM Rates products. Acting as a senior point of contact, they will manage and develop relationships with leading hedge funds, delivering market insights and facilitating liquidity across the broker's platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand relationships with top-tier Hedge Funds across London and international markets
Drive revenues across EM / CEEMEA rates products, including local currency bonds, IRS, and derivatives
Originate and distribute trade ideas, relative value strategies, and market colour to clients
Act as a key interface between clients and trading desks to facilitate efficient execution
Identify new business opportunities and onboard new hedge fund relationships
Maintain strong awareness of macroeconomic developments impacting EM markets
Candidate Profile
Proven experience within Rates Sales (EM / CEEMEA focus preferred), ideally from an investment bank or broker
Extensive, demonstrable relationships with Hedge Funds (critical requirement)
Strong understanding of EM Rates products, including local markets and derivatives
Track record of revenue generation and client ownership
Highly commercial mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial brokerage environment
