Next-generation investment firm that leverages advanced data intelligence across both public markets and early-stage private companies. The firm employs a quantamental investment philosophy that supports high-conviction decision making across long and short positions.

Position Overview:

The firm is looking for an experienced and driven Quantamental Analyst to join the team. The idea candidate will have experience working at a Long/Short hedge fund, investing across either Consumer or TMT on a quantamental basis, as well as having experience with alternative data. 4-10 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rigorous quantamental research integrating alternative data, statistical modeling, and traditional fundamental analysis to identify actionable long and short investment opportunities.
  • Build, validate and maintain predictive models that enhance the investment teams ability to anticipate company-level and sector-level inflection points.
  • Analyze large-scale consumer, behavioral, and market datasets to surface early signals on financial and operational trends.
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to develop, articulate, and monitor high-conviction investment theses across consumer & TMT sectors.
  • Monitor and assess risk expsoures, model performance, and factor sensitivities to support disciplined portfolio management.

Qualifications:

  • 4-10 years of experience at a long/short hedge fund.
  • Demonstrated experience investing in Consumer or TMT sectors using a quantamental approach.
  • Strong profiency with alternative data, including sourcing, cleaning, interpreting, and integrating it into investment workflows.
  • Advanced analytical skills with expertiese in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages, plus familiarity with machine learning methods.
  • Solid grounding in fundamental equity research, including financial modeling, KPI analysis, and valuation framework,
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights that support conviction in both long and short positions.
  • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree in finance, economics, statisitcs, computer science, engineering or related field preferred.
