Key responsibilities
- Partner closely with quantitative traders to design and implement systematic, data-driven trading strategies
- Build and maintain real-time systems used to calculate indicators that drive trading decisions
Required skills and experience
- Strong experience developing production-grade applications in Python
- Hands-on experience with C# or a similar language (C, C++, or Java) in a production environment
- Proven track record of building, deploying, and supporting live systems
- Ability to manage priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable / nice-to-have
- Prior experience in financial services, ideally within a hedge fund or trading environment
- Exposure to technical leadership or system architecture responsibilities
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Experience building dashboards or working with data visualisation tool
