Project Manager, Business Transformation
A growing financial services organization is seeking an Operations & Business Transformation Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives focused on operational excellence, technology modernization, and process improvement.
This role sits at the intersection of business, operations, risk, and technology and is ideal for someone who enjoys driving projects from strategy through execution. Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent transformation, implementation, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.
- Partner with business, technology, operations, and risk teams to drive successful project execution.
- Support system implementations, platform migrations, process redesign efforts, and technology modernization programs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across competing priorities.
- Translate complex business requirements into executable project plans and measurable outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive initiatives that improve scalability, operational effectiveness, and risk management.
Ideal Background

- 8-15 years of professional experience.
- A consulting background supporting financial services clients.
- Experience within banking, payments, treasury, capital markets, investment operations, trade operations, financial services technology, or operational risk environments.
- Led large-scale implementations, transformation programs, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both business and technology teams.
- A hands-on, execution-focused approach rather than a PMO or governance-only background.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives from planning through implementation.
