Key Responsibilities
- Shape and implement the strategic direction for risk modelling and analytics platforms.
- Drive the creation of resilient, high-efficiency systems tailored for client exposure tracking and market risk analysis.
- Oversee global operations, regulatory compliance, and budgetary control within the risk services domain.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across time zones to ensure seamless integration of risk capabilities.
- Lead agile development teams with clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and strong stakeholder engagement.
- Support and coach Business Developers, contributing to their growth and effectiveness.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated success in leading product strategy within financial risk technology, particularly in derivatives and exposure modelling.
- In-depth expertise in market risk, operational risk, and capital adequacy frameworks (e.g. SA-CCR, FCCM).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing complex global initiatives.
- Understanding of programming and data tools (e.g. Python, SQL, C++, ETL) is advantageous.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, delivery-oriented approach.
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience and academic-level analytical capability.
