Product Analyst (OTC Derivatives)
We are currently representing a leading trading platform that operates real-time price discovery and regulated trading solutions for OTC derivatives, connecting buy-side and sell-side participants globally. The firm is focused on driving innovation and efficiency across underserved areas of financial markets.
The Role
As a Product Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of clients and internal teams, acting as the key link between users, product, and engineering. This is a highly client-facing role, combining product ownership, market knowledge, and relationship management.
You will act as the voice of the customer, working closely with internal stakeholders to shape product evolution while supporting clients throughout onboarding and ongoing usage of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients on product and functional queries
* Translate client needs into clear user stories for engineering teams
* Support product roadmap prioritisation alongside the Product Manager
* Communicate new features, timelines, and platform updates to clients
* Deliver product demos and support onboarding of new users
* Manage integration projects, including API and trading system connectivity
* Collaborate with QA teams to build and execute test plans
* Analyse platform data to produce insights for both clients and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to the broader product strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile
* Experience within financial markets, ideally in trading, market infrastructure, or fintech environments
* Exposure to OTC derivatives and how they are traded
* Strong understanding of APIs, FIX protocol, or system integrations
* Comfortable in a client-facing role with strong communication skills
* Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
* Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
