Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced investment professional to join its team as a Vice President or Principal. This individual will play a critical leadership role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across the firm's core sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in private equity or investment banking, deep industry knowledge in industrials and business services, and the ability to lead deal teams and portfolio company initiatives with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end deal execution, including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, structuring, and negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with intermediaries, business owners, and industry executives to generate proprietary deal flow.
  • Oversee and mentor junior investment professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Partner with portfolio company management teams to drive strategic and operational improvements, including growth initiatives, add-on acquisitions, and exit planning.
  • Prepare and present investment committee materials and recommendations.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and support ongoing value creation efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting, with a strong preference for lower middle market exposure.
  • Demonstrated success in leading transactions and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of the industrials, manufacturing, and business services sectors.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
