Private Equity Associate
We are partnering with a Scottsdale-based lower middle market investment firm seeking to add a Private Equity Associate to its growing team. The firm invests in established businesses across healthcare services, business services, consumer products & services, and specialty manufacturing. The team works closely with founders, business owners, and management teams to drive long-term growth and value creation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new investment opportunities through industry research, financial analysis, and market diligence
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO, operating, and valuation models
- Participate in all aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence, financing processes, and investment committee presentations
- Assist with portfolio company monitoring and value creation initiatives
- Work directly with senior investment professionals, management teams, and external advisors
- Support sourcing efforts through market mapping, outreach, and relationship development
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Experience supporting M&A, capital raising, restructuring, or principal investing transactions
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated interest in private equity and lower middle market investing
- Ability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial environment

- Investment Banking Analyst or Associate
- Private Equity Associate
- Transaction Advisory / Deals professionals with significant M&A exposure
- Experience within healthcare, business services, consumer, industrials, or manufacturing sectors is a plus
