Global Equities Quantamental PM
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global equities quantamental research and investment activities across AI-related sectors.
- Develop fundamental research frameworks covering semiconductors, AI infrastructure, data centers, compute, and adjacent technology value chains.
- Integrate fundamental analysis, alternative data, quantitative techniques, and machine learning into the investment process.
- Partner with AI, data, and engineering teams to translate investment workflows into model training and evaluation frameworks.
- Design feedback mechanisms to assess model performance within financial research and decision-making applications.
- Support the development of research, data, portfolio construction, and validation infrastructure from the ground up.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and technical stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- 4-10 years of experience in global equities investing, research, or portfolio management.
- Strong coverage of semiconductors, AI infrastructure, compute, data centers, technology hardware, or related sectors.
- Experience within a buyside investment platform, hedge fund, asset manager, or institutional investment team.
- Proficiency in quantitative research tools and data analysis, with exposure to Python, machine learning, or systematic research methodologies.
- Fluent English communication skills; Mandarin capability is advantageous given the Shanghai-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to generate independent industry views and convert research insights into actionable investment decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across investment, technology, and data functions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience combining alternative data, NLP, or AI techniques with fundamental investing.
- Previous exposure to long/short equity, sector-focused investing, or quantamental strategies.
- Strong interest in applying AI to investment research and financial reasoning.
