Your Role
In this strategic position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing KYC/CDD policies and frameworks. You'll collaborate across departments to ensure robust client monitoring and compliance with evolving regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading policy development and implementation for KYC/CDD and sanctions.
- Initiating and executing future-proof processes in client due diligence.
- Managing client monitoring frameworks, including Ongoing Due Diligence and Automated Assessments.
- Applying and optimizing risk-based approaches (RBA) for client filtering and monitoring.
- Demonstrating continuous monitoring effectiveness based on internal risk assessments.
- Working closely with Transaction Monitoring and Risk departments to align strategy and execution.
Key Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in AML, CFT, sanctions, and FEC policy.
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate client integrity risks.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Affinity with risk and audit-related activities.
- Deep expertise in KYC/CDD and client monitoring.
- Resilient and adaptable, with a mindset for continuous improvement.
- Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to translate policy into effective processes.
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability in delivering results.
