Managing Director, Capital Formation
This role sits within a digital assets platform and focuses on capital formation, investor relationships and business development. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to expand the firm's investor network, develop strategic partnerships and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with family offices, institutional investors, UHNW individuals and strategic partners.
- Lead capital formation activities across the firm's investment and business offerings.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the digital assets ecosystem, including partnerships, investor engagement and new business initiatives.
- Leverage existing networks to generate investor introductions, strategic partnerships and new business opportunities.
- Represent the firm in investor meetings, industry events and market engagement activities.
Qualifications
- 10-20+ years of experience in capital formation, fundraising, investor relations, institutional sales or business development.
- Established relationships with family offices, institutional investors or alternative investment allocators, with evidence of relationship portability.
- Prior experience within digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain-related businesses or digital asset investment platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in entrepreneurial, high-growth or build-out environments.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior investors and decision-makers.
