I'm working with a large, global asset manager that's expanding its multi‑asset research capability. They're looking to add a macro‑focused investor who enjoys connecting economic insight with real portfolio decisions and collaborating closely with investment teams.
Overview:
- Lead deep‑dive macroeconomic research to help shape top‑down market perspectives and identify durable investment themes
- Convert research findings into actionable investment ideas that inform trade construction, execution, and ongoing monitoring
- Partner with investment teams to clearly communicate views across internal forums and externally facing materials (e.g., presentations, commentary, thought leadership)
- Play an active role in market debates and cross‑asset discussions that influence positioning and risk allocation
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in macro research, strategy, or a comparable investment role
- Strong understanding of macroeconomic frameworks and how they impact asset prices across markets
- Exposure to equities, thematic investing, or asset allocation is beneficial but not required
- Highly analytical and data‑driven, with the ability to distill complex information into clear conclusions
- Demonstrated interest in markets and contributing to a collaborative, multi‑asset investment process

- Proven ability to independently drive research from hypothesis to investment view
- Creative and resourceful thinker who leverages diverse data sources and modern tools, including emerging technologies such as AI
- Comfortable working across teams, asset classes, and geographies

Education:
