A growing private equity and alternative investment platform focused on direct investments across commercial real estate is seeking an Investment Sales Associate to join its team in the Dallas, TX area. This is a high-velocity, relationship-driven sales role where associates are provided with a consistent flow of warm, qualified investor leads and are expected to drive engagement through to close.
The Investment Sales Associate Will Be Responsible For:
- Managing and converting a high volume of warm, inbound investor leads
- Acting as a trusted advisor, educating investors on alternative investments, including private placements and real estate strategies
- Clearly articulating risk, illiquidity, return expectations, and deal structure in a way that builds investor confidence and trust
- Owning the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through allocation and funding
- Driving urgency and momentum to close capital commitments within defined timelines
- Executing high-touch follow-up strategies based on investor behavior (email engagement, offering interest, prior activity)
- Maintaining rigorous activity tracking and pipeline management within CRM systems
- Developing strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, RIAs, and family offices
- Identifying investor preferences and matching them to appropriate opportunities across multiple live deals
- Navigating objections and addressing concerns around risk, liquidity, and market conditions
- Collaborating with internal deal, marketing, and investor relations teams to improve conversion and investor experience
- Staying informed on current offerings, market dynamics, and portfolio developments to credibly position opportunities
The Investment Sales Associate Should Have:
- Active FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63/65/66 or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in investment sales, financial services, or securities-based roles
- Demonstrated ability to close or advance investor conversations, not just service accounts
- Strong understanding of investment fundamentals, including risk, return, and portfolio construction
- Ability to confidently explain higher-risk, illiquid investment strategies to sophisticated investors
- Highly organized with the ability to manage dozens of active investor conversations simultaneously
- A proactive, driven, sales-oriented mindset with a focus on results and accountability
- Comfort working in a metrics-driven, in-office environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with private placements, alternatives, or capital raising environments
- Exposure to real estate investing, syndications, or private equity
- Experience working with or selling to HNWI, RIAs, or accredited investors
- Track record of succeeding in warm-lead or inbound sales environments
- Strong ability to balance relationship-building with closing urgency
