Investment Counsellor, ED - International Private Bank
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior investment advisory resource to Relationship Managers, supporting client discussions on portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and solution design.
- Deliver tailored investment advice to HNW clients across discretionary and advisory mandates, ensuring alignment with clients' long‑term objectives, risk tolerance, and strategic allocation frameworks.
- Translate global and regional investment views into actionable, client‑relevant strategies and positioning.
- Maintain strong market awareness across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, FX, structured solutions, and alternative investment strategies.
- Contribute to idea generation across traditional and structured products, including identifying opportunities arising from market dislocations or thematic trends.
- Support structured training or ad‑hoc knowledge sharing with front‑office stakeholders where required, engaging product specialists as appropriate.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience within private banking or wealth management advisory environments.
- Proven track record in an investment advisory, portfolio advisory, or investment specialist capacity supporting HNW or UHNW clients.
- Strong knowledge of multi‑asset portfolios, discretionary mandates, and structured investment solutions.
- Highly analytical with strong strategic judgement and commercial awareness.
- Comfortable working independently as a senior IC.
- Fluent English and Mandarin.
