A leading middle‑market investment bank is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its Healthcare Investment Banking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare services, healthcare IT, life sciences, or related subsectors, along with extensive experience executing M&A and capital‑raising transactions. This role offers significant responsibility, client exposure, and opportunities for career advancement within a growing platform.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Leadership
- Lead the execution of buy‑side and sell‑side M&A, recapitalizations, and capital‑raising transactions.
- Manage financial modeling, valuation analyses, due diligence efforts, and the creation of marketing materials.
- Oversee internal workstreams and coordinate communication among clients, attorneys, lenders, investors, and other advisors.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Client Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Provide strategic guidance and market insights tailored to the healthcare sector.
- Support senior team members in advancing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop analysts and associates, offering direction on technical work, communication, and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and high‑performance team culture.
Sector Expertise
- Maintain deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulatory dynamics, reimbursement models, and investor sentiment.

Qualifications
Required
- 5-8+ years of investment banking experience, with significant exposure to healthcare transactions.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead transaction processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing and developing junior team members.
