Investment Banking Associate
An elite boutique investment bank is seeking an Associate to join its Chicago office. The team advises on complex M&A transactions in the industrials sector and is looking for a highly analytical candidate with strong technical skills and transaction execution experience. Associates work closely with senior bankers, play a meaningful role in live deal execution, and gain exposure to sophisticated public transactions across a variety of sectors.
Responsibilities
- Execute M&A transactions from marketing through close
- Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
- Conduct company, industry, and market research
- Prepare client presentations, board materials, and other deal-related deliverables
- Manage analysts and help coordinate transaction workstreams
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of investment banking experience
- Strong M&A transaction experience; exposure to public company transactions preferred
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
- Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience managing analysts and supporting transaction execution
