Investment Banking Associate - Media & Entertainment
A boutique, Media & Entertainment-focused investment bank is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its New York City office. The firm advises well-known media companies across a wide range of strategic transactions and has established a reputation for strong, consistent deal flow.
Associates will work closely with senior bankers on live transactions, gaining significant responsibility and exposure in a collaborative, lean team environment. The firm is also known for its commitment to maintaining sustainable work hours while delivering high-quality advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions
- Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and client materials
- Conduct industry and company research within the Media & Entertainment sector
- Assist in drafting pitch materials, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), and management presentations
- Collaborate directly with senior bankers and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
Requirements
- Prior experience in investment banking
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skill set
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
